Windows 8 CP (Consumer Preview) has recently launched for public uses and grabs huge audience attention. Including Windows 8 appearance, Apps gallery or online storage facility, Windows 8 comes with one Splendid Functionality which perhaps you haven’t seen or even heard before, that is inbuilt security features provided in Windows 8. So, you don't need to worry anymore about security or privacy of your confidential data contained in the hard drive as they are already secured up to the mark.
Microsoft enhances the security features to fight well against any kind of spyware, malware to help keep your system safer and more reliable. Unlike Windows security essentials, Windows defender and similar inbuilt Windows 8 programs would help tracking virus in your PC and let the administrator know about it. For ex: Windows defender is especially designed to scan the boot drives and efficiently remove exploits that could harm your system.

Since SmartScreen Filter performs background check for program integrity and protection, user don't see the 'allow' Window like in Windows Vista or 7.
